The Rivers Casino is one of the Pennsylvania casinos that are excited about adding table games to their gaming floor. Each casino in the state must pay a fee before they can begin offering table games such as blackjack and craps and the latest to do so is the Rivers Casino. The North Shore Casino had to pay $16.5 million in a licensing fee to be able to add the table games. The fee is paid to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and the fee was paid this past Tuesday. Just last month the Control Board approved the casino’s petition to add eighty six table games.
George Matta a spokesman for the casino commented that the Rivers is planning on launching the table games in July but a date has yet to be announced. The games that will be
added to the casino are: blackjack, craps, roulette, Texas hold’em bonus, Pai gow poker, three card poker, big six, mini baccarat and twenty four poker tables. With the new games, over four hundred jobs will be created.
