The Rivers Casino in Pennsylvania recently banned a blackjack gambler after the gambler decided to leave her daughter outside to go inside and gamble. The woman, Tran B. Quach, decided to leave her daughter at the outside entrance in the cold weather so she could go inside to play blackjack. The woman has now been banned for life from the casino for her actions. The casino surveillance footage showed the woman leave her daughter outside at around two in the afternoon this past Saturday. The footage also showed the woman go straight to the table games and play blackjack around 2:30pm. The gambler had a little over five hundred in chips that she was gambling with.
Police officers found the little girl dressed in a light jacket and shivering. She was also wearing flip flops and a short skirt and temperatures were well into the fifties. The mother of the little girl told officers that she had left her daughter for just ten minutes while she went to get her car that had been left at the casino the night before.
The little girl said her mother’s car was left at the casino because she was drunk. The little girl is only eight years old. Apparently, the security footage tells a different story. For the choices the woman made she is now banned from the casino for life which may prove to be a lesson for anyone else who decides to leave their children outside to go gamble.
It seems as though gamblers in Pennsylvania do not believe they will be punished for their actions especially if they leave their children unattended to go gamble. Numerous parents have been arrested just this year for leaving their children in vehicles outside of casino so they can wager on such games as blackjack and craps.
