This month the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has announced they will be debuting ‘Retro’ Blackjack. The casino is the same one that brought ‘Boogie Back” to their 70s and 80s dance club and now they are going back in time with the game of blackjack. The blackjack table games will be offering a minimum ‘Retro’ wager starting at $2 per hand along with a twenty five cent fee per hand. The games will be offered for a limited time on two table games at the Resort Casino. Wagers will begin at $2 and can be made in one dollar increments up to $5. Wagers after $5 can be made in $5 increments. The twenty five cent fee must be paid for wagers from $2 to $5 and the fee will be taken by the dealer prior to any cards being dealt.
Kevin Brown the Executive Director of Table games for Resorts Casino commented: “many players are looking to expand their casino experience by playing blackjack, but are intimidated to do so. Retro Blackjack gives them an opportunity to become familiar with the game while playing with others who have a similar skill level. With the incredible successes we have had with our retro dance club the past two years, and with the coin-operated slots last year, it was natural for us to take the Retro theme to table games. These games will certainly add additional buzz to an already exciting casino floor.”
