The Sky City Casino Hotel in Acoma, New Mexico is hosting a special blackjack tournament for charity this weekend. The tournament is called the Blackjack Challenge for Charity and it will take place this Saturday. Inexperienced blackjack players can take advantage of an orientation before the tournament on Saturday. From ten to noon players can learn how to play the game and the tournament will take place from noon to three. The top prize is $10,000 which will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice.
"In this season of giving, Sky City is proud to be able to join hands with media and celebrities from across the state to support a number of worthwhile charities," director of sales and marketing Ron Riopka said in a press release. "Each player will bring their favorite charity to the table with a chance to win a donation to their chosen cause. A fun time and an opportunity to give back to the community."
This tournament is a great way for blackjack players to participate in a tournament for a good cause. Not only do the players get the thrill of competing in an exciting tournament but players also get the opportunity to give to needy causes.
