The Cosmopolitan casino is a new facility to open on the Las Vegas Strip and they have not been doing well thanks to bad press about their blackjack tables. The casino has been under construction for several years now and just a few months ago earned their license from the Nevada Gaming Commission. The casino just opened last week but over the past few weeks the casino has suffered from bad publicity on their blackjack tables. Forums as well as online sites have talked about how the tables offer 6:5 payouts on all natural blackjack which is less than the standard Vegas payout of 3:2. This left blackjack players feeling jilted and it has hurt the casino since they opened this past week.
However once the casino opened visitors found that the rumors were false. The only tables offers the 6:5 payouts were the single deck games. The multi deck games offered the standard Vegas payout of 3:2. The casino has multi-deck games including Blackjack Switch, Spanish 21 and Blackjack. They also have a high limit room which has double deck blackjack.
The rumors may have hurt the casino in this past week but hopefully as visitors try the tables out at the new casino they will find that it offers the standard payout as well. They also have another plus on their side. They managed to buy out some of the best dealers in the business from the Wynn casino so players will have a great time playing the games as well as the comfort of knowing they are playing with an experienced dealer.
