The Fitzgerald’s Casino Hotel in Tunica is getting ready to host a special blackjack tournament later this month. Blackjack players will be able to visit the casino and compete for their share of the large guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is titled Hot Hands II and has a guaranteed prize of $20,000 for the first place winner. Players finishing in 1st through 7th place will win a cash prize and players in 2nd to 7th place will win a cash prize based on a sliding percentage of the total cash collected from the buy-in as well as three re-buys. The buy-in to this event is $150.
The tournament is set to take place on February 24th and 25th and many top blackjack players are expected to compete. Adolph Lepre the VP at the casino commented on the event by stating: “This event went over well last November and brought a lot of long time players back to the Fitz, players who only come for cash and that’s the way it should be. We had a lot of interest for another Hot Hand event and we did it.”
Players should register for this event on February 4th or 5th to be able to earn a seat in the event. The event is sure to be exciting and since the prize pool is so large, players are sure to be lining up to compete for their shot at the prize!
