The United States is known as the Melting Pot of cultures. There are people from all over the world who live in the United States and many cultures are represented. Most people speak English as their main language but there are some citizens who speak other languages as their first language. The Hispanic/ Latino community has continued to grow over the past few years and the US has many Spanish speaking citizens. Many businesses are now adapting to the new cultures in the US and offering the Spanish language, with employees speaking the language for customer service and many other options. One resort and casino in Las Vegas recently announced they have added bilingual table games to their casino floor to cater to the Hispanic/Latino community.
The Buffalo Bill’s Resort and Casino which is located just outside of Las Vegas has added the new blackjack tables to the casino floor. Players who speak Spanish will now find blackjack table games with dealers who speak the Spanish language. The dealers will be able to speak both English and Spanish and the table felts will be printed in both languages as well.
Maria Macedo is over the new tables and she commented that the tables have become very popular. She has been in the casino business for the past twenty six years and she stated she has never seen Spanish speaking people playing blackjack at the rate they are now enjoying the game.
Michael Starr is the executive vice president of Primm Valley Casino Resorts and he commented that the Hispanic market is growing considerably in the area of Primm Valley Casino Resorts. He stated they are very excited to launch the bilingual tables at one of their properties and be able to service the new customer base.
