Kane County of Illinois which is part of the Chicago area recently repealed the ban on video gambling. Last December the ban was put in place to make video poker and video blackjack illegal in bars, restaurants and truck stops in the county. The board held a re-vote and with a vote of 17-7, the ban has been lifted. The state of Illinois allows video blackjack but they also allow counties to opt out. Kane County had opted out but now they will be bringing the machines back in. now the county will be able to earn more tax revenue from the games once they are added.
The video blackjack machines will allow players to enjoy the fun of blackjack. Players can place their money inside the machine and make their wager. If the player gets a win then they will receive a payout. The county has yet to state when they will be placing the machines in the venues.
