The Horseshoe Casino located in Cleveland, Ohio is officially open and today marks the first official weekend for the new casino. Dealers will be put to the test with larger crowds expected and the owner of the casino is asking for patrons to go easy on the new dealers.The casino has six hundred new dealers who will be working the blackjack and other card games and most of the dealers are new to the industry. Dan Gilbert the owner of the Horseshoe is asking visitors to be patient as the dealer will need to be accurate at first and then work on speed in the game.
Crowds have already been heavy at the casino and they are expected to be even larger this weekend. There is a big baseball game this weekend as well and the casino expects visitors to the game will hit the casino as well.
Dealers working the blackjack and other tables seem to know the game but experienced will be able to see a few flaws. During the week, dealers did seem nervous and many deck stacks were seen knocked over and chips have been failed to be returned for a slight second.
Overall, the dealers are doing well and with more practice they will be able to hone their skills and avoid the nervousness. It will be interesting to see how many players will turn up this weekend and if the dealers will be able to handle the big crowds.
