Josh Axelrad is a blackjack pro who has seen great success in the game. he has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars playing the game and recently released a new book called Repeat Until Rich: A Professional Card Counter’s Chronicle of the Blackjack Wars. In the book Axelrad comments on how he has never been able to win at the game of online poker. In his new book, Axelrad describes how he had a job at a Swiss Bank and he eventually met Gary Knowles of the famous MIT Blackjack team. Josh then started studying Edwards Thorpe’s book and learned how to become a blackjack player. The then was able to win at the game and he joined a team that was headed by a retired Wall Street Millionaire.
Axelrad got good at the game and he eventually was able to win $18,000 in just ten minutes. Josh has played for just five years but has already earned over $700,000 with blackjack. However with security getting tighter at airports it became hard to bring large amounts of cash through the airport. Axelrad then decided to take up online poker but it was not the game for him and he lost over $50,000 in a short time.
