Don Johnson is a genius at the blackjack tables. A few months ago the gambler was able to win about $15 million at several casinos in Atlantic City. The news of the massive win made Johnson an instant celebrity and now the blackjack gambler has won even more cash while playing the game. Johnson was visiting the Tropicana Casino and Resort and managed to win $2 million! Johnson did this in October and continues to be a large player in the blackjack industry. Tony Rodio the CEO of the Tropicana confirmed that Johnson won the $2 million at the blackjack tables. Johnson commented that he had gone back to the casino and managed to do very well yet again.
The casinos in Atlantic City are suffering in the revenue department because gamblers are playing so well. Johnson was not the only big winner and the casinos have suffered about a 17% loss for October. Rodio commented on this fact by stating:
“Last month we were the windshield, this month we’re the bug. We’re going to have some great months and some months when we get beat up.” When gamblers are hot the casinos lose out on cash and this is exactly what happened in October.
It is amazing that Johnson was able to win yet another large million dollar prize. The gambler seems to be on a hot streak and casinos surely wish his streak would end. But for now, they will have to accept their losses and hope that things will turn back their way soon.
